Kevin Fisher of Lima Ohio is the team driver for the the all new
2008 Cannister Dragster. 2008 will be an exciting year for Kevin
as he leaves Quick Rod behind and makes the move to a class
that he has dreamed of competing in full time....IHRA Top
Dragster! With the help of many new marketing partners
including Stan Ray and the crew at Ohio Crankshaft, Kevin's
short term goal for 2008 is to acquire that first IHRA Iron Man in
TD! In the near future, Kevin would like to step up to the IHRA
Pro class ranks, whether it be Pro Mod, Alcohol Funny Car or
even Top Fuel, preferably something with a blower!

Some 30 years ago, Kevin started off like most folks who get into
the sport of Drag Racing, in a street car. While still in the Air
Force, Kevin raced his 1972 AMX at Beeline Dragway in Phoenix,
AZ. during the 1975-77 seasons. This is where he also attended
his first national event, where he witnessed Shirley Muldowney
defeat Big Daddy in the final round during the 1976
Winternationals. Now he was hooked for life! Kevin has raced
many different cars, classes and combinations since that first
AMX. The time has come to move up, and get into the
championship points chase in the IHRA Sportsman classes.

Kevin has many years of building, tuning and driving his many
different races cars to numerous victories. With Kevin's proven
ability to stay innovative in the new technologies and grow as
the sport grows, there's no end to where his racing career can
take him.
